Baker Rock Resources is a local, family-owned and operated company that has been in the asphalt and aggregate production business for more than 50 years. With four locations in northwest Oregon and more than 100 employees, it is a company large enough to meet your needs, but small enough that you can get the president on the phone.

Baker Rock not only sells aggregate and asphalt, but also has equipment and crews trained for delivery and installation. The company specializes in projects with challenging requirements and tight specifications – whether designing a hot mix or warm mix asphalt product, or grading and paving an actual construction project.

Baker Rock's award-winning asphalt projects reflect decades of experience in the industry and span a broad range of clients and applications – from residential and commercial development to industrial and municipal projects. The Baker Rock team has completed numerous projects for the Oregon Department of Transportation, as well as local city and county jurisdictions.  

The company encourages innovation, and has led the industry in development of its patented Special Treated Base – a high-strength, impervious base rock designed for the construction market. Baker Rock was also the first producer in the Portland metro area to modify its hot mix plant for production of warm mix asphalt, which is a relatively new approach to asphalt production that requires less fuel and produces fewer emissions than traditional hot mix methods.
